If you care about young people's mental health and be part of building something you truly believe in - this one's for you. We're hiring a Sales Development Representative on behalf of a fast-growing EdTech scale-up that's become one of the most impactful wellbeing platforms in schools globally.
Company profile - EdTech / Wellbeing
We are partnered with a fast-growing EdTech global team tackling one of the most important problems in the world right now, youth mental health. They power wellbeing programs in over 700 schools across 18 countries, giving teachers the tools, structure and confidence to deliver world-class student wellbeing lessons.
Their platform is the first of its kind and with huge traction globally, they are on track to double the number of schools this year and looking for passionate people to join the journey.
The role - Sales Development Representative
As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact between the sales team and the schools that could benefit from the platform. Working closely with senior sales, your core focus is generating qualified meetings through smart, strategic thinking about how to reach the right people.
There's real room to grow here and high performers will have genuine pathways into senior sales roles, both in Australia and internationally.
Job responsibilities - Sales Development Representative
In this SDR role, you'll be tasked with the following duties, but not limited to:
- Reaching out to prospects via email, phone and attending key wellbeing conferences
- Booking meetings for the broader sales team and nurturing prospects through the lead pipeline
- Strategically approaching the best ways to connect with key decision-makers
- Writing and testing marketing copy for impactful outreach strategies
- Collaborating with the sales team developing and executing sales campaigns
- Exploring AI tools to work smarter ad sharpen your outreach
Job requirements - Sales Development Representative
- Driven and resilient with a track record of backing yourself - in sport, work, performance, a side project, anything!
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Alignment with the mission and care deeply about youth mental health
- Ability to think on your feet
- Active listener
- Curious about AI and how it can improve your day-to-day
- Comfortable with some interstate travel as part of the role
Sales experience is not a must. Your attitude and drive is paramount!
