We are looking for a Stockperson to join our business and provide pivotal leadership and support to our Grower and Breeder Departments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

This is a full time position and you will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and assist with care for the livestock. Some key tasks and responsibilities are listed below

- Tend to routine husbandry of all stock
- Care for sick and injured stock
- Move, draft, sort and weigh stock
- Administer medications and vaccinations when required
- Artificially inseminate stock
- Feed and care of stock
- Adhere to Safety and Biosecurity Standards

The Right Person

- Machinery skills would be an advantage
- Preferably have animal experience but not essential
- Uphold the highest level of animal welfare
- Have a positive attitude
- Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
- Robust communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Problem solving skills, reliability and flexibility
- The desire to be part of close-knit team

Qualifications/Licenses

- A current divers license
- Own transport and willingness to travel daily to Mt Mercer
