We're seeking extra customer service assistants to come on board with our fantastic team.

At Tasman Butchers, we pride ourselves as the meat specialists. As such, we are able to offer specialty, on-the spot, fresh cuts over the counter from our butchering team.

Our Meat Service Assistants are at the front facing operators of our business, often the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in creating a positive in-store experience.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, pro-active individuals who bring a strong and positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for customer service.

About the Role:
As Meat Service Assistant, your focus will be working together as a team to servce our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Serving customers at the register in an efficient, friendly and professional manner
- Preparing and packing fresh, raw meat products
- Replenishing and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring the store and display areas are clean, well-presented, and inviting.

What We’re Looking For:

Someone who is flexible, reliable and available to work weekdays and/or weekends. Including:

- Is keen and motivated to deliver outstanding customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working at a fast pace when trading gets busy
- Excellent personal presentation




- Ability to operate a sales/register system
- A proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work well within a team
- Experience in a fresh food or supermarket environment (desireable)

Our store hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm - Sat & Sun 8:00am - 5:00pm

This role is suited to school graduates, uni students, side-gig operators looking for some extra cash. Please note, the hourly rate is based on the adult wage.
