The Butchers Block in Barangaroo is looking for a solid and experienced Grill Chef to support the Head and Sous chef's with all aspects of the venue.
Ideal candidate would have experience working on the meat / grill section, comfortable cooking meat accurately and quickly, and to the correct degree.
Our group is expanding and we are looking for individuals that can make an impact. This is an exciting role that doesn’t come around often and can be extremely rewarding.

· Able to mentor, motivate and drive a team
· Keep calm under pressure
· Liaise with FOH with specials,
menu changes and service
· Rostering and wage management
· OH&S; and meeting compliance
· Consistency and able to follow recipes and ensure your team meet quality guidelines
· Flexibility with your roster
· Stock management and cost controls
· Experience cooking on grill, hot pans, fish cookery
