D&K; Brothers is currently seeking 2 experienced Demi Chefs to join our kitchen team at Manly Leagues Club.

This is an excellent prospect for reliable and motivated chefs who enjoy working in a busy club bistro environment and want to build a stable, long-term career with an established hospitality group.

About the Role

As a Demi Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard
- Managing your allocated kitchen section during service
- Assisting with food preparation, portion control and stock rotation
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and service speed
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Supporting senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
- Assisting with receiving, storing and organising kitchen supplies
- Minimising food waste and helping control food costs
- Working effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work area

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef, Commis Chef or experienced Cook
- Experience working in a busy restaurant, hotel, club or bistro kitchen
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills




- Positive knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
- Full Australian working rights

Experience with Australian club bistro cuisine, grill, fryer, pans, pizza or function catering will be highly regarded.
