We are seeking experienced Medium Rigid Truck Delivery Drivers to join our distribution team based in Thornbury VIC.
About the role:
Reporting to the Transport Manager, this is a full time role offering great remuneration and an immediate start to the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop deliveries to Food service, Retail and Distributor customer sites
- Loading trucks with electric pallet jack/forklift
- Hand-unload stock off trucks at delivery location
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in an effective, efficient and friendly manner.
- Ensure all invoices are signed and complete all paperwork as per company's policy.
- Maintaining Company vehicle.
- Handling cash and cheque payments from customers (as required)
- Where required, the job may include remaining in the warehouse and assisting with warehousing and picking tasks.
About you:
- Must be able to drive manual as well as automatic transmission trucks.
- Must possess a valid Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid.
- Must be available to work from 8am every day between Monday to Friday
- Forklift license is an advantage
- Multi-drop experience with knowledge of the Melbourne suburbs preferable
- You are physically FIT and enjoy the physical nature of the job
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understand all aspects of OH&S; compliance and manual handling.
- Be flexible and self motivated.
- Chinese &/or Vietnamese speaking is an advantage but not necessary
