We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position for a skilled Restaurant Manager in our busy restaurant, Joey's, at Kangaroo Point. Joey's is part of the Bellissimo Coffee group and is an iconic venue known and loved by locals and visitors to Brisbane. We pride ourselves on delivering a premium offering in all aspects of the experience which includes our food and beverages, and in particular how we take care of our valued customers and team. As such we require not only an experienced professional, but a caring manager who can help us bring all of the elements of our venue together.
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
- Ensure customer satisfaction & experience at all times
- Ensure the profitable and safe operationsof the restaurant
- Work together with our kitchen staff to help create innovative menus that will work well within our restaurant
- Meetbudgets/targets
- Ensure orders are placed timely and efficiently as the restaurants requires
- Carefully monitor our stock levels and maintain detailed records of stock movement
- Account for all financial transactions and reconcile figures daily
- Always ensure that health and safety regulations are met
- Being responsible for the restaurant's overall appearance, functionality and reservations
- Creating a personal rapport with our customers and strive to exceed their expectations
- Selecting and training new staff
- Managing and supervising floor and kitchen staff to ensure our service is always as desired
We require the following:
- Possess a Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred)
- P_ossess at least one year of work experience in a similar role_
- Be driven, love working with people and be able to successfully lead a team and bring people together toward a united vision
- Be able to work in a busy restaurant always delivering top-notch service
Salary: $ 79,500 + superannuation
Positions require weekend availability and ability to open and/or close shifts. Some training will be provided to acculturate our new candidate to Bellissimo however the expectation is the right candidate will come with restaurant management capacity.
The right candidate will be effective in all areas listed and be available to manage all aspects of Joey's at Kangaroo Point.
