Amuheat Projects is looking for a motivated Hydronic Underfloor Heating Installer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move away from regular plumbing work and become skilled in a high-quality, niche area of the building and mechanical services industry.

We specialise in hydronic underfloor heating, electric floor heating, radiators, trench heaters, heat pumps, boilers and heating/cooling mechanical systems. Our work is clean, detailed and rewarding, with a strong focus on quality installations, professional service and long-term client comfort.

Experience in hydronic heating or underfloor heating is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to train and coach the right qualified plumber or trade-experienced person who is reliable, hands-on and keen to build a long-term future in a specialist field.

About the Role





Your day-to-day work will include installing hydronic in-screed and in-slab heating pipework/coils, as well as installing and servicing hydronic wall radiators, trench heaters and convectors.

You will also be involved in installing and servicing hydronic heating and cooling systems, including mechanical air and water-based systems, gas boilers, heat pumps and solar-assisted heat sources.

The role will include managing the stock and materials required from our store in Alexandria for the jobs assigned to you and ensuring every installation is completed to a high standard.

You will be expected to liaise professionally with clients, builders and other on-site trades, while also completing all required job records through our job management system.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, organised and takes pride in their work. Experience in hydronic heating, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical services, construction or underfloor heating is preferred, but we are also open to training the right person with a strong trade background and the right attitude.

This role would particularly suit a qualified plumber who is ready to move away from regular plumbing and specialise in a clean, skilled and growing niche. You will need to be confident using tools safely,



comfortable reading plans and following site instructions, and have a strong eye for detail.

You should be qualified when dealing with clients, builders and other trades, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic comfort using job management apps and keeping accurate records is also important.
