The Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a casual basis.

Your opportunity

Our Casual pool staff provide backfill for Administration Officer positions within the Whitsunday Health Service at Proserpine Hospital and Whitsunday Community Health Centre. Our Administration Officer positions directly support clinical teams in the Emergency Dept, Ward, Maternity, Medical Records, Radiology, Telehealth, Community Health, Main Reception, COAG (medicare billing), Patient Travel and Accounts. All positions involve patient/ customer interaction and require high level administration skills to deliver fast and accurate administration processes in a busy and high pressure environment.

About the Team

The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Community Health Campus - Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus - Proserpine. The hospital is a 33-bed acute hospital, which offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services.



The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team.
