About the Role

We are currently seeking a Male Arabic-Speaking Disability Support Worker to join our growing team. This role involves supporting an NDIS participant with daily living activities, community access, personal care, and social engagement while promoting independence and improving quality of life.

Due to the participant's individual care needs, cultural preferences, and communication requirements, we are seeking a male support worker who is fluent in Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support in accordance with the participant's NDIS goals.
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support participants with meal preparation and household tasks.
- Assist with community access, appointments, shopping, and social activities.
- Administer medication (where appropriately trained).




- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with participants and their families.
- Follow individual support plans and organisational policies.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Essential Requirements

- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Check.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, reliable, and skilled attitude.

Desirable.

- Previous experience supporting NDIS participants.
- Experience supporting participants from culturally diverse backgrounds.
