The Project Manager role is a senior role responsible for the delivery of projects within scope, designated timeframes, and budget. To achieve this outcome the Project Manager must correctly plan the project from conception through to completion.
The Project Manager Role is the role that ensures the project remains on target by maintaining an accurate construction program to ensure all activities are sequenced to deliver the project safely, on time and within budget.
To deliver the project safely,
on-time and within budget the role requires the individual to maintain an intimate understanding of the costs of construction which includes a pre-commencement review of budget estimates and a thorough understanding of the Preliminary breakup and construction methodology imposed by the preliminary budget to ensure any deviation from the original estimate and scope of works is allocated to the correct stakeholder, being Decode, the client, or a sub-contractor.
The Project Manager is the key point of contact for the client and for stakeholder management and must provide leadership and strategic direction to his team up until the project finalisation review has been completed.
