Financial Planner About the role An established boutique financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join its Melbourne CBD team. Working with an existing portfolio of clients, you'll deliver holistic financial advice across investments, superannuation, retirement planning and wealth creation, while also developing new client relationships through internally generated opportunities. You'll work closely with a collaborative support team, allowing you to focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering strategic advice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial advice across investments, superannuation and retirement planning.
- Manage an existing portfolio of clients and conduct regular review meetings.
- Develop tailored financial strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service.
- Monitor investment performance and recommend strategy adjustments where required.
- Prepare and present financial plans and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal support staff to ensure efficient advice delivery.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to additional services where appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensee requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the advice business.
About you
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner.
- Strong knowledge of investments, superannuation, retirement planning and wealth creation.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage an ongoing client portfolio independently.
- Strong understanding of compliance obligations within financial advice.
- RG146 compliant with relevant financial planning qualifications.
