Golding is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to join our Mine Civil Infrastructure project

Golding is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to join our Mine Civil Infrastructure project in the Bowen Basin. This position offers competitive remuneration and site uplifts, with flights from Brisbane, as well as accommodation and meals provided when working away from home.

This role operates on a 9:5 roster, and local candidates will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, design, document, and manage construction activities and processes.
- Implement and monitor project programs related to engineering services.
- Drive team performance to ensure effective and effective work outcomes.
- Manage and allocate project resources effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong communication with the Project Team, suppliers, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Environmental, and Safety Management Plans, as well as relevant regulations.
- Complete required reporting for financial, operational, and survey aspects of the site.
- Uphold Golding’s health and safety standards while promoting a safe work culture.





Key Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field (essential).
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Practical knowledge of investigation, design, and construction of civil works.
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Suretrak/Primavera, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Personal flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
