For our Canberra outlet, we are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic BOH Full-Time Kitchen Hand.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen,



storage areas and food preparation areas.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (e.g. washing, peeling and cutting vegetables).
- Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling appropriately.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Full working rights in Australia.
