We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory. The role involves manufacturing, repairing and finishing dental prostheses and appliances in accordance with dental prescriptions and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Construct crowns, bridges, full dentures and partial dentures.
● Prepare dental models and moulds from impressions or digital scans.
● Repair, reline and modify dentures and other dental appliances.
● Fabricate mouthguards, splints and orthodontic appliances.
● Shape, trim, polish and finish dental prostheses.
● Check completed work for fit, occlusion, appearance and quality.
● Operate dental laboratory equipment and CAD/CAM systems.
● Maintain laboratory records, equipment and a clean, secure workplace.
Qualifications and Experience
● Relevant qualification in Dental Technology or equivalent.
● Previous experience as a Dental Technician.
● Experience with crowns, bridges, dentures and dental appliances.
● CAD/CAM experience is highly regarded.
Skills
● Strong attention to detail.
● Good manual dexterity.
● Knowledge of dental materials and laboratory procedures.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
● Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: $53,367.73 – $98,830.55 per year
