About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate disability support worker to provide care and assistance to a 19 year old male with a traumatic brain injury, this care will help him live independently at home.

- Personal care

- Complex care needs
- Hydrotherapy
- Wound care

- Medication administration

- Assistance with Allied health tasks/Exercise porgram

- Manual handling
- Social Support

- Domestic assistance
- Special meal preparation
- Willing to drive own car and a modified vehicle - Essential
- Documentation and reporting

- Community Access

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times available:

- 8am to 4pm Tuesdays

- 4pm to 10pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays
- 7am to 3pm Alternate Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday




- 3pm to 11pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday
- 11pm to 7am Wednesdays, Fridays and alternate Monday and Saturday (sleep)

Requirements:

- Applicants must have good English speaking skills
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Previous care experience

- Current references

- Mobile phone
- Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
- NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)

- Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)

Paid WWCC (Working with Children's check) or willing to obtain
