Callide Valley Toyota is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to come work in a up-to-date workshop with the support of a global automotive brand, offering above award remuneration and incentives as well as extensive training opportunities and programs.
Salary range is $75,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate must:
- Have an Industry level certification to operate as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic in relevant state, territory or jurisdiction
- Have a developed knowledge of the automotive industry and experience in a similar role
- Have a current Australian State or Territory manual driver's licence
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical components and systems in motor vehicles such as the engine, transmission and suspension systems
- Report all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
- Provide guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
- Test drive and conduct final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit
