Osborne Group is looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter / Workshop Lead to join our growing team immediately.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a modern fleet running safely and efficiently while leading workshop operations.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Servicing and maintaining a modern fleet of earthmoving equipment and trucks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Scheduling and coordinating workshop maintenance
- Managing breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime
- Leading workshop operations and maintaining high safety standards
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers where required
- Completing maintenance records and compliance paperwork
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Diesel Fitter
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on earthmoving equipment and trucks
- Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Current driver's licence (HR or above licence advantageous)
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
