The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Hairdresser who brings technical excellence, leadership energy, and a genuine passion for client experience. You’ll work a column of your own clients while mentoring juniors, driving retail, and helping shape the creative direction of the salon floor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Services: Deliver exceptional cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services across all hair types. Specialists in blonding, balayage, or extensions are a bonus.
- Consultation & Retention: Conduct thorough consultations, create tailored hair plans, and build long-term relationships that drive rebooking rates.
- Technical Leadership: Support and upskill apprentices and junior stylists. Lead by example with time management, cleanliness, and service standards.
- Business Growth: Achieve personal service and retail targets. Promote salon treatments, home-care, and membership packages.
- Salon Culture: Contribute to a positive, collaborative environment. Participate in photo shoots, training nights, and social content creation.
- Professionalism: Maintain knowledge of trends, techniques, and products. Attend external education as provided.

What You’ll Bring





- Qualifications: Certificate III in Hairdressing required. Certificate IV or colour specialist training highly regarded.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years floor experience in a busy salon, with a proven track record of building/maintaining a strong client base.
- Technical Skills: Advanced cutting + colour. Confident with foils, global colour, toner formulations, and modern styling. Experience with Wella/Kevin Murphy/Davines preferred but not essential.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, consultation skills, and time management. Warm, professional, and client-focused.
- Mindset: Team player with leadership potential. Passion for ongoing education and social media savvy is a plus.
