Senior Helpers FNQ is seeking compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Workers to provide high quality in home care to older Australians and adults living with disability. If you're passionate about helping people maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own home, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll provide personalised, one on one support tailored to each client's individual needs. Duties may include:

- Personal care (showering, dressing, toileting and continence support)
- Companionship and social support
- Meal planning and preparation
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Light household duties
- Community access and transport to appointments
- Shopping and errands
- Medication prompts (where appropriate)
- And other client focused support services

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home & Community Care) or equivalent
- Experience providing in-home care or community support
- Current National Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)




- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Reside in Tully or the surrounding area
