Looking for a flexible part-time role with the potential to turn into a permanent position? Are you passionate about sports with a knack for numbers? As a Trading Associate you’ll have the opportunity to combine your love for both, whilst providing valuable support to our Trading team.

What you’ll do

As a Trading Associate, you will support our racing trading teams in monitoring and adjusting prices for all betting events and assist with the risk management of books.

- Set and adjust betting odds for various horse racing events.
- Manage customer accounts and betting requests to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor race results and manage risks by adjusting betting lines as needed.
- Keep a watchful eye on the events that customers are betting on.
- Provide real-time updates and support to traders when unexpected developments occur.

Embrace Flexibility

Your availability and willingness to embrace a flexible rotating roster, which includes nights and weekend work, will place you at the heart of the action while fostering work-life balance.

What to expect

- Hours can vary between 20-30 hours a week, with flexibility depending on what suits you
- Shifts can be available most days, with busiest periods being between Thursday and Sunday
- Onboarding will run for 4 weeks, with a mix of daytime and overnight training in Sussex Street office
- After training, most shifts are evening or overnight shifts
- Eligible night shifts finishing after midnight can be worked remotely
- Receive rosters in four-week blocks to support forward planning

What You’ll Bring

You don't need experience in the banking and finance industry to excel in this role.
