Pro Elite Electrical & Security is seeking an experienced, fully licensed Residential Electrician to join our growing team in a Team Leader role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, leads by example, enjoys mentoring others, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

This Team Leader role is suited to a qualified residential electrician with proven residential maintenance experience. Applications from apprentices, trade assistants, commercial-only electricians, or those without a current Australian Electrical Licence will not be considered.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of residential electrical maintenance and addition works, including fault finding, repairs, upgrades, rewiring, switchboard work, lighting, power, and security system installations.

You will also play a key leadership role, leading by example while guiding and mentoring a growing team, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Residential electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
- Residential additions and renovations
- Switchboard upgrades and rewiring
- CCTV, alarm, and access control installations
- Reading and interpreting plans and job scopes
- Leading, supervising, and mentoring apprentices and junior electricians
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service




- Liaising with clients and the office to ensure jobs are completed efficiently

Essential Requirements

- Current unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
- Extensive residential maintenance experience (essential)
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a team
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with residential renovations, additions, and switchboard upgrades
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and safe work practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple jobs, and lead by example

Applicants Will Not Be Considered If You:

- Do not hold a current unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
- Do not have extensive residential maintenance experience
- Are an apprentice or trade assistant
- Have only commercial electrical experience
- Do not have full Australian working rights

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
