Redpath is expanding operations at the Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia, with the development of 4th and 5th portals and new declines from surface . This is a rare chance to work on one of the largest uranium and copper mining operations in the world , on a long term project with strong growth potential.
We’re seeking experienced Underground Electricians to join our maintenance team, working with modern equipment in a safety focused, high performance environment that supports ongoing training and internal career progression.
The Role
- Roster: 14 days on/14 days off (12 hour rotating shifts)
- Location: Olympic Dam Mine, SA
- Equipment: Jumbo's, Loaders, Agi trucks, Cable Bolters, Normet Shotcrete Rigs etc
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical work to a high standard in line with statutory requirements
- Complete maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and component replacement
- Identify, assess, and manage workplace risks
- Contribute positively to a strong safety and team culture
About You
- 5 years minimum experience in underground development mining
- Current Electrical Licence
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- CPR & LVR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Manual driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a Police Check and Pre Employment Medical
