PK Fabrication and Welding Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and installing high‑quality metal components for a range of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricating structural steel, stainless steel and sheet‑metal components according to drawings and specifications.
- Performing MIG, TIG and stick welding to required tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, cutting lists and workshop plans.
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, drilling and preparing materials using workshop tools and machinery.
- Assembling and fitting components prior to welding and final finishing.
- Conducting onsite installation and fitting of fabricated items when required.
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and compliance standards.
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised workshop environment.

About You





- Minimum relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar metal fabrication role.
- Strong welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick) and experience with structural and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
- Experience with workshop machinery such as press brake, guillotine, rollers and bandsaw (preferred).
