Change for Life are looking for ABA therapists on behalf of our current families in the West Melbourne areas (e.g., Hoppers Crossing, Newport, Melton, Werribee, etc), North Melbourne areas (e.g., Wollert, Mernda, Broadmeddows), and/or Geelong area.

We are particularly looking for individuals available on weekends and after school hours to support our older children with complex needs.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic team members to work with children aged between 2 and 12 years of age. No experience is required, as we are happy to train the right individuals.

Your role will be to provide progressive ABA, which is based on behaviour principles and has a strong evidence base with helping children with autism and developmental delays. We support children in all areas of their development with a particular focus on learning to express their needs while feeling safe and supported.

Our approach to learning is play-based so we are looking for fun and energetic team members who aren't afraid to get a little messy with sensory play or jump around with their kids! Being reliable is a must as our children require consistency in their therapy.

It is also essential that you:

- Please note that only applicants with cover letters will be considered.
- Have a valid drivers license and access to a car. Driving is an essential component of the job as some homes are difficult to reach via public transport.
- Have positive communication skills with both children and adults.
- Are currently studying (or have a degree) in psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, education, or any allied health related field.
- Have experience with children.




- Are after between 2 and 4 days per week (can be full or half days from Monday to Sunday), which can be paired alongside other work or study. Please note that we offer an increased pay rate on weekends and after school hours for home-based therapy sessions.
- Have, or will apply for pre-employment certificates including a Police check, Working with Children’s Check, and an NDIS Disability Worker Screen.
- Can commit to this position for a minimum of one year.

This is an ideal position for current students at any level of tertiary study. Therapists are offered ongoing support and opportunities to maintain clinical competency.
