Job Description - Motor Mechanic

Our client in the area of Goulburn Valley in Victoria is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of "Motor Mechanic". Our client is well known repetitive business which provides exceptional services for vehicle maintenance and vehicle services.

As a suitable candidate you must be able to perform the below mentioned tasks:

- detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
- dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
- repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
- performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
- testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance




- diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
- may inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness

Experience and Qualifications: -

- Have minimum qualification of Certificate/Diploma level of qualifications in Automotive Technology.
- Having experience in exceptional customer service and rapport.
- Have a minimum of 3 years full-time of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Must have can-do attitude and attention to detail.

Excellent salary range in between $75,000 to $83,000 plus superannuation per annum. Location of the Job: Tatura, Goulburn Valley, Victoria
