Barminco is looking for Light Vehicle Fitters to join the team at the Bellevue Gold Project on a full-time basis on a 2/2 FIFO roster.

Your role is integral to delivering safe, productive and effective underground mining operations.

You'll support the production team within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Roster: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off FIFO ex Perth

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs

- Conduct inspections, pre-starts, and compliance checks to ensure vehicles are safe for operation

- Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects or safety issues

- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes

- Trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (or equivalent)

- Previous experience working as a Light Vehicle Fitter in underground mining

- Current and valid Manual Australian Driver’s Licence

- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards

- Experience operating within production-focused underground environments

- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures

- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace
