SIMPEC Pty Ltd is a diversified services provider headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in construction and asset management within the energy, infrastructure, maintenance and resources industries.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Mechanical Fitter to join an experienced maintenance team on a Sydney based project

Duties:

- Carry out routine maintenance and emergency callouts
- Perform scheduled maintenance to minimise disruptions onsite
- Assist with waste reduction
- Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Perform scheduled maintenance in a timely manner
- Identify defects and problem solve issues
- Assist with waste reduction
- Ensure all work carried out meets the project plan
- Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders onsite

About You:

- Previous experience in maintenance, shutdowns & inspection of works
- Ability to prioritise your work
- Have a strong understanding of terminal operations and equipment
- Understand safety procedures and ability to comply with regulatory requirements
- Be a dedicated team player
- Solid communication skills
- Previous experience within the shutdown or maintenance industry

Roster: Monday - Friday





Duration of Work: Approximately 2 years

Location: Sydney NSW

Essential Qualifications/Tickets

- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Working At Heights: Certificate (within 2 years)
- Construction Card
- Confined Space Entry
- High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform above 11 meters
- Australian Work Rights
