Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Drainer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in drainage and pipeline installation projects — ensuring work is completed to specification, on time, and in compliance with industry and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Excavate trenches and prepare sites for drainage installations.
- Install stormwater, sewer, water, and other drainage pipe systems.
- Set out, align, and level pipes using laser levels and similar tools.
- Backfill and compact trenches to specification.
- Read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with plant operators and site teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance,



and workmanship.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in drainage / civil pipe laying or related civil construction roles.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert III in Civil Construction / Pipelaying) or equivalent practical experience.
- Civil construction and drainage installation experience.
- Ability to use levels, set out works, and interpret plans and grades.
- Strong safety mindset with competency in WHS practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and on your own initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $128,250.00 – $133,380.00 per year
