About the role

MSS Security is looking for a Casual Security Officer to work in our Tamworth Airport site. This position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence at the airport, while also performing passenger and baggage screening services.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Passenger & checked baggage security screening.

- Managing traffic flow & screen at security checkpoints within the airport

- Providing solid customer service and responding professionally whilst liaising with customers and internal stakeholders

- Maintaining and following all compliance procedures and safety measures

- Recording incident reports as required





Skills and Experience

- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection - Free paid training for the right candidates!

- Security Licence (preferred)

- Must have full working rights in Australia.

- Ability to successfully pass Drug & Alcohol screening.

- Customer service experience with high attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
