About the Role

We are an established stone masonry company specialising in high-quality stone benchtops and custom stonework. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Stone Mason to join our factory team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in stone gluing, hand finishing, operating power tools and checking templates before production.

Key Responsibilities

Stone Gluing and Finishing

Accurately glue, laminate and assemble stone pieces to produce strong, clean and professional finishes.

Operating Power Tools

Safely operate wet angle grinders and other stone fabrication tools to trim, grind and finish stone benchtops.

Template Checking

Inspect templates before cutting to ensure measurements, cut-outs, joins, overhangs and other details are accurate and suitable for production.

Problem Solving

Identify potential manufacturing issues and provide practical solutions before the stone is cut or fabricated.

Quality Control

Check completed work to ensure it meets our workmanship and quality standards.

Workplace Safety

Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including requirements relating to stone dust and power-tool operation.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should have:

- At least one year of relevant stone masonry or fabrication experience
- Proven experience in stone gluing,



lamination or template checking
- Confidence using wet grinders, drop saws and other stone fabrication equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A reliable, responsible and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights

Candidates with experience in more than one area of stone fabrication will be highly preferred. This may include gluing, polishing, cutting, template checking, CNC operation, hand finishing, forklift operation or installation.

As we are a small team, teamwork is essential. Everyone is expected to support one another, share responsibilities and help where needed. We work hard together to complete each job to a high standard while maintaining a friendly and supportive workplace.

Experience working with engineered stone, porcelain, granite, marble or quartzite will also be highly regarded.
