Aspire Academics

Truganina

Aspire Academics is an in-person tutoring centre in Truganina supporting students from Years 3 to 12. We help students build genuine understanding, strong study habits and the confidence to do their best. As we grow, we are creating a new role dedicated to keeping our students, parents and teachers closely connected, so every student's progress is understood and supported.

About the role

You will own the relationship between our students, their parents and our teachers. Each week you will connect with our teaching team to understand how every student is tracking, identify where they are struggling, and make sure those areas are being addressed in class. You will turn that into a clear, warm progress update for parents on a weekly to fortnightly basis, so families always know how their child is going and what to work on next. When a teacher raises a concern, you will arrange a consultation and help bring everyone onto the same page.

This is a part-time, on-site role at our Truganina centre, with some after-school and weekend availability to suit our timetable.

What you will do

- Coordinate the weekly loop between students, parents and teachers

- Collate teachers' feedback for each student into clear, warm, report-card-style summaries

- Write and send progress updates to parents on a weekly to fortnightly basis, with specific next steps

- Point students and parents toward further practice and resources

- Arrange and coordinate parent, student and teacher consultations when concerns are raised

- Track delivery and quality, and keep accurate student records

What we are looking for

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a warm and qualified manner

- Strong administration and organisation, with real attention to detail and follow-through

- A natural collaborator who works well with teachers, students and parents

- Empathy, patience and genuine care for students' progress

- Comfort with everyday tools like email, spreadsheets and student records

- Full working rights in Australia

- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencing)

Desirable (not essential)

- Experience in education, tutoring, student services or a similar client-facing coordination role

- Experience writing reports or progress updates for families or clients

- Familiarity with student progress tracking or a CRM

- Having attended a Victorian selective-entry high school (such as Melbourne High School, Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Nossal High School or Suzanne Cory High School) is a strong plus, though it is not required

What we offer

- A supportive, friendly team environment

- Flexible part-time hours that fit around other commitments

- Competitive pay based on experience

- A central, meaningful role where you directly shape students' and families' experience

To apply, please submit your CV and a short note on your relevant experience and availability through this listing.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

- Did you attend a Victorian selective-entry high school (such as Melbourne High, Mac.Robertson Girls', Nossal or Suzanne Cory)?

Work Location: In person
