We are looking for motivated and experienced Chefs to join our team at the vibrant Divers Tavern.

Location: Broome, Western Australia

Type: Full-time

Salary: $79,499 - $85,000 commensurate with skills, experience and responsibilities.

Duties:

· Plan Ala Carte menus.

· Prepare steamed, fried, grilled and sauteed items including lamb, beef, chicken and seafood.

· Organise food items stocktake.

· Portion food items prior to and after cooking.

· Cook food and adjust the seasoning during the cooking time.

· Store, prepare and cook food by freezing, refrigerating and preserving methods.

· Assist in preparation of costs for meals.

· Assemble and present food for Ala Carte.

· Manage food orders with suppliers.

· Maintain hygiene and food quality.

· Comply with all licencing, WHS and hygiene regulations.

· Other general kitchen duties as required.

Essential:

· Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with at least one year of relevant work experience.





· Good English language communication skills.

· Able to work in a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable:

· Experience working in busy, fast-paced establishments.

Other information:

· Police check may be required.

· Pre-start medical testing may be required.

· Drug and alcohol testing may be required, with zero tolerance to intoxication at the workplace.
