and ongoing pipeline of work we are ungently seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants for the positions of qualified Fitter – General within our Queensland Trades Team who will work for our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this role is to work as part of a team to create, maintain and operate a reliable and accurate production line and testing facility for the manufacture of a variety of automotive products.

Essential skills needed:

- Qualification and/or 2+ years’ experience as a Fitter or Mechanic with relevant Fitter experience.
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Ability to manage own time and others to meet agreed timeframe and projects.
- Experience operating High Speed manufacturing equipment.
- Mechanical Aptitude – understanding of fundamental principles.
- An understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
- Able to work on tasks autonomously.
- Exhibits self-motivation and takes responsibility for actions.
- Demonstrates a strong solutions-focused approach to work and problem-solving skills.

About you:

- Demonstrates an ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
- Hard working and reliable.
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, understanding and spoken English)
