Position Title: Wildlife Rescue Coordinator / Call-taker (Volunteer)
Location: Remote (Volunteer from Home)
Role Summary:Wildlife Rescue Coordinators are responsible for answering wildlife rescue calls, assessing and prioritising incidents, dispatching volunteers, monitoring active rescue cases, and providing support to callers and rescue personnel. Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring wildlife receives an efficient and appropriate response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming wildlife rescue calls.
- Collect and record accurate information about each incident.
- Assess and prioritise rescue cases.
- Dispatch suitable volunteers to attend rescues.
- Monitor active cases and provide ongoing support to volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with callers and the rescue team.
