Green Signs Hire is a specialist hire company supplying Variable Message Sign (VMS) boards, arrow boards and light towers to roadworks, events and construction sites across Victoria. We're a close-knit team and we're looking for a reliable casual driver to join us at our Sunshine North depot.
The role
Working out of our VIC depot, you'll deliver, set up, relocate and collect our road-safety equipment at job sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Day to day you'll be:
- Towing and positioning sign trailers, VMS boards, arrow boards and light towers at customer sites- Safely loading, unloading and securing equipment- Setting up and programming boards on site (full training provided)- Carrying out basic pre-start checks and reporting any faults- Logging jobs, capturing site photos and updating our system on the run- Representing Green Signs professionally with customers and traffic crews on site
About Green Signs Hire




- Current Victorian driver's licence with a clean record; confident towing trailers - Physically fit — the role involves manual handling and outdoor work in all weather- Reliable, punctual and flexible with hours (casual, with the potential for regular work)- Good communicator who can work unsupervised and use a smartphone/app for job logging- Safety-first attitude on and around live traffic
Highly regarded (not essential)
- Traffic management ticket (TMI / "Implement Traffic Management" or equivalent) and/or White Card - Experience in traffic control, roadworks, logistics or equipment hire- Forklift licence and basic mechanical/electrical aptitude
