About the Role
Our client is seeking reliable and experienced HR and MR Truck Drivers to join their growing transport and logistics operation based in Epping. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified drivers who take pride in safety, customer service, and delivering goods efficiently.
You will be responsible for completing local and metro deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and ensuring freight is transported securely and on time. Similar HR/MR roles typically involve local deliveries, vehicle inspections, freight handling, and compliance with road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HR or MR vehicles safely and professionally
- Complete scheduled deliveries and pick-ups across Melbourne metro areas
- Load and unload freight as required
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Ensure delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately
- Follow all road safety, fatigue management, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
What We're Looking For
- Current and valid HR or MR Driver's Licence
- Previous truck driving or delivery experience preferred
- Good driving record and strong safety awareness
- Ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
