The Position:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable farm hand to join our Livestock team. This hands-on role is full time and involves a variety of livestock and property maintenance duties to support the effective management of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with maintaining the health and welfare of livestock, including by patrolling, inspecting and reporting on the condition of livestock
- Providing livestock with feed and water and implementing livestock feeding and welfare programs
- Herding and droving livestock to access feed
- Perform daily animal husbandry tasks, including health checks, treatments, and accurate livestock record keeping.
- undertaking general farming and maintenance activities such as erecting and repairing fences,



maintaining and cleaning livestock housing and maintaining other infrastructure
- operating and maintaining general farm machinery and water supply and irrigation systems
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and other equipment.
- Use livestock management systems to accurately capture animal data during handling.

About You:

- Practical experience in cattle handling and general farm duties.
- Robust understanding of animal welfare practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a rural environment.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
