Green Timber Tech (GTT) is a leading Australian prefabricated timber housing manufacturer, delivering innovative modern methods of construction (MMC) solutions for residential and social housing projects across NSW and beyond. We are seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Manufacturing team, working on our factory wall line to assemble and install prefabricated wall, floor and roof panels.

About the Role

Reporting to the Wall Team Leader, the Carpenter is responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated wall, floor and roof panels, including the fit-out of cladding, windows, doors and internal finishes. Working from drawings and production documentation, you will deliver precision-engineered building components to quality and safety standards, primarily based in our factory with occasional travel to client sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and install prefabricated wall, floor and roof panels, working from drawings and production documentation
- Install cladding, windows, doors and internal finishes to specification
- Operate hand tools,



power tools, and work alongside CNC/automated systems as required
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, flagging inconsistencies to the Licenced Carpenter / Wall Team Leader
- Maintain a secure and clean working environment in line with WHS requirements
- Support loading, logistics and preparation of components for transport to site
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives on the wall line

Skills & Experience Required

- Qualified Carpenter (Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience in residential construction; prefab or modular experience advantageous
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality

Salary

AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation (depending on experience and qualifications)

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
