Your new role

As the Program Facilitator for Being Our Best Brave, you’ll create uplifting, safe and inclusive spaces where LGBTIQA+ young people (12–18 years) in Greater Shepparton can build confidence, connection and wellbeing.

You’ll deliver interactive, strengths-based workshops and activities that support young people to explore their identity, build peer relationships and strengthen their vocational and educational pathways.

Your skills and experience

- Qualification (e.g. Certificate or Diploma) in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills and experience in program coordination.
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- Demonstrated understanding of the experiences, barriers and wellbeing needs of LGBTIQA+ young people.
- Experience facilitating youth groups, workshops or community activities in a strengths-based way OR have appropriate willingness to learn with relevant transferable skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create safe,



respectful and inclusive group environments that celebrate diversity.
- Demonstrated ability to respond to different group dynamics, with a trauma-informed youth led lens.
- Effective written and administrative skills
