About the Role

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Trade Assistants to join the team on a full-time basis, working an 14/7 FIFO roster.

These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

- Supporting Heavy Diesel and Light Vehicle trades

- Assist with set up, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground and ancillary equipment

- Regreasing, oil changes and general workshop duties

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects or safety issues

- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes

- Previous experience working as a serviceperson or trade assistant

- Completion of pre apprenticeship preferred (but not essential)

- Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
