Position Overview
Starling Services is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to work in a rural healthcare setting in Millmerran, Queensland. This role involves delivering high-quality aged care services, managing a patient load, and supporting clinical teams in a energetic rural and remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centered nursing care
- Manage a designated patient load within aged care settings
- Perform clinical procedures including cannulation
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and escalate where required
- Administer medications as per scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Adhere to infection control and aged care standards
Required Skills Experience
- Proven experience in Aged Care
- Competency in cannulation
- Experience working in rural and remote settings
- Ability to manage patient loads independently
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced and diverse environments
Mandatory Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration (Enrolled Nurse)
- Evidence of vaccinations:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Pertussis (within last 10 years)
- Current NDIS clearance or Aged Care Check
- Criminal History Check (valid and current)
- Proof of work rights in Australia
- Valid photo identification (certified)
- Recent clinical references (2 referees within last 12 months)
- Evidence of relevant training (including cannulation competency)
Contract Details
- Hours: Up to 80 hours per fortnight
