AVTEL is a global security company based in Seven Hills, NSW. It designs, install and support large integrated security systems. These systems are generally connected to the corporate network allowing for remote centralised monitoring and management. AVTEL also provide high-quality design services as well as installation and maintenance.

AVTEL (AUST) Pty Ltd currently has expansion plans within Australia to support increasing customer demand for integrated security solutions. As part of its growth strategy, the business is seeking to strengthen its operations and service capability in key markets, including Sydney & Melbourne. AVTEL also plans to expand its technical workforce to support recent projects, improve customer service delivery, and meet increasing operational requirements across Australia.

Currently, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Systems Administrator for full-time position.

Main Duties:

o designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files

o performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls

o implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures

o testing database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging and resolving all identified problems, according to approved quality testing scripts, procedures and processes

o accepting responsibility for the processes,



procedures and operational management associated with system security and disaster recovery planning

o liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources; analysing, recommending, installing and maintaining software security applications; and monitoring contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements

o troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving and repairing server-related hardware and software malfunctions, encompassing workstations and communication infrastructure

o preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs

o ensuring that the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks

o continually surveying the current computer site to determine future network needs and making recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks.

Eligibility:

- Relevant qualification at Bachelor level or higher plus minimum two years’ full- time relevant work experience.
- The suitable candidate will have knowledge, skills, and experience in field and similar role.
- Must have full working rights for Australia.

Salary - $125,000 - $135,000 Plus super and phone allowance, tool allowance, use of company vehicle (fuel & tolls inclusive).

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
