About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Officer to support the day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities working within a small team.

Reporting to the Company Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, royalty management, reconciliations, payroll support and month-end reporting.

This position is suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing their responsibilities independently with appropriate guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with accounts payable, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs.
- Assist with accounts receivable, account follow-ups and outstanding collections.
- Perform bank, balance sheet and other month-end reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end close and the preparation of management reports.
- Support budgeting, cash flow reporting and revenue recognition processes.
- Assist with payroll administration, leave balances and employee entitlement calculations.
- Prepare Sporting Organisations royalty reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.

Skills and Experience

Essential

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting,



Finance or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
