What you'll do
As the Administration Officer Assets, you will provide high-quality financial and administrative support to the work unit through the management of procurement activities, ICT assets and equipment, software licensing, budgeting processes, accounts payable and receivable, and the use of business systems including SAP/R3. You will maintain accurate and efficient records management systems for assets, equipment and software, while delivering excellent customer service and preparing quotes using strong organisational and communication skills. Working collaboratively across a geographically dispersed team, you will provide administrative support as required and contribute to the development of best-practice business systems by monitoring work practices, identifying improvement opportunities and recommending solutions that drive continuous improvement. You will also develop, maintain and ensure compliance with Queensland Health procurement and financial policies, supporting effective governance and operational excellence.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Ability to deliver high quality ICT services to clients of eHealth Queensland, with emphasis on coordinating multiple tasks and working unsupervised.
Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team situations and communicate clear explanations.
Knowledge of policies and practices relating to asset management, procurement and records management.
Demonstrated ability or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management processes (primarily incident / configuration management).
