As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our next-generation products. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in developing and implementing software solutions that leverage data-driven insights to solve complex problems. As a Software Engineer with Data Science experience, you will work closely with their data science and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software applications.

The annual salary for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that integrate data science models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement machine learning models, data pipelines, and analytics tools to support various business functions.
- Optimise software performance and scalability, ensuring robust and reliable systems.




- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software engineering and data science.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

- Must have a Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Should have at least two (2) years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on data science and machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
- Experience with data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
