Fuse recruitment are currently seeking experienced 8 Tonne forklift operator for temp to perm roles in the Botany / Matraville area. This role is working 4 days on and 4 days off on rotating shift patterns. Working day shift one week and night shift the following week.
This client does not close and operates 24/7 so you will be required to work weekends as well as public holidays.

Shift times:

- 12 hour rotating 4 on 4 off roster, 5:30am- 5:30pm and 5:30pm – 5:30am (weekly)
- 8 hours normal time - $38/hr
- Night shift allowance - $49.40/hr
- Time and Half - $57/hr
- Double time - $76/hr

Duties and responsibilities:

- Proficiently operating Linde Forklifts, both 8 tonne and counterbalance grab forklift to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
- Utilising forklifts to skilfully load and unload containers, B-doubles and Semi trailers ensuring the secure and organised placement of goods.




- Executing stock picking tasks for orders, specifically handling large cyclinder paper reels with precision.
- Maintaining a consistently high level of safety standards and housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse environment.
- Adhering to lifting protocols, handling loads of up to 15kgs with careful attention to safety and efficiency.
- RF Scanning
- Manually packing orders
- Palletising and shrink wrapping stock
- General Warehouse cleaning duties

Skills and Requirements:

- Strong background working in a warehousing or manufacturing facility
- Current forklift license and experience operating 8 tonne and counterbalance forklifts
- Experience operating a clamp/grab forklift (desirable)
- Container unloading experience
- Experience loading and unloading B-doubles and semi trailers
- RF Scanning experience
- Must be willing to undergo a medical and drug and alcohol check
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Basic computer literacy skills
