Job Title: NDIS Support Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who can start immediately. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping participants achieve greater independence across all facets of their lives. You will work closely with participants to:

- Identify their goals and support needs.

- Source and coordinate relevant services.

- Ensure effective use of their NDIS plans.

- Overcome any barriers they may encounter

Key Responsibilities

- Develop strong, cooperative relationships with participants, their families, and external service providers.

- Negotiate with providers and help participants understand costs associated with their NDIS budgets.

- Draft and complete service agreements and bookings

- Take a holistic approach to capacity-building, empowering participants to address challenges and build resilience.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

- A proven track record in the disability sector, with comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS and its processes

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills





- Excellent organisational abilities to juggle multiple participant needs

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Disabilities or Mental Health, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Support Coordinator

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance

- Completion of the NDIS worker orientation module

- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
