Pattison’s Patisserie are looking for a Pastry Cook to join our Patisserie kitchen team.

From humble beginnings in the 1990s, our business has expanded from one bakery in the northern suburbs of Sydney, to 17 locations in and around the city and Northern Beaches. We provide specialist products directly to the customer and pride ourselves on our use of the finest ingredients, artisan produce and made-to-order speciality products.
The role:
Assist daily production of all high-quality, made-to-order, artisan goods.
- Our wide range of products includes small cakes & cookies, whole cakes, slabs & slices, sweet and savoury pastries.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness practices throughout the shift, to ensure OH and S regulations are followed.
- Working with the Head Chef to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- All aspects of the preparation of pastry fillings from dry ingredients.
- Glazing and decorating pastries and cakes specifically as per the order instructions from the customer.
- Monitoring baking times based on the appearance of goods during the shift.
- Ensuring order deadlines met from the customer.
Required skills and work ethic:
- Reliable and punctual
- Manage workloads to meet deadlines for made to order products
- Passionate about baking with amazing quality produce and following our traditional methods.
- Have a good work ethic
- A team player
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
- Own vehicle and current driver licence preferred
- Strong communication skill
- Minimum 2 years experience as a pastrycook with a relevant Certificate 3 or above. Or 3 years of experience without a relevant certificate.
Position: Full time
Salary: $76,515 plus super.
