Weldworks Australia PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Painting Trades Worker for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW in Australia. On a full time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Painting Trades Worker, Full- time position

Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super

Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:

Requirements

- Certificate 4 in painting and Decorating.
- Proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of technical skills and attention to detail.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Surface Preparation: Knowledge of techniques to clean, sand, and prime surfaces before painting.
- Application Techniques: Proficiency in applying different types of paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
- Colour Mixing:



Ability to mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired shades and finishes.
- Tool Maintenance: Understanding of how to maintain and store painting tools and equipment.
- Lift and Carry Equipment: Ability to lift and carry heavy paint containers, ladders, and other equipment.
- Dexterity: Fine motor skills for precise painting and detail work.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that paint is applied evenly and surfaces are free from imperfections.
- Finish Work: Attending to the finishing touches that enhance the overall appearance of the painted surfaces.
- Protective Gear: Using masks, gloves, and other protective equipment to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals.
- Work Environment: Ensuring proper ventilation and handling of hazardous materials.
- Regulations: Adhering to safety standards and regulations set by occupational safety authorities.
- Cleaning equipment and work area
